Grade 80 chain is a heat-treated alloy steel designed for high strength for overhead lifting and tie down applications. It is the most economical of the three chain grade types that are suitable for overhead lifting (grade 80, grade 100, grade 120). Please note that while grade 80 chain is approved for overhead lifting applications, tie down chain assemblies must be designed for overhead lifting due to the supplied hook.

Our grade 80 chain slings are tested throughout the manufacturing process and meets and exceeds the specifications of EN818-2 standard.
